תורה א' - דע כי על ידי תורה נתקבלים כל התפלות וכל הבקשות שאנו מבקשים ומתפללים, והחן והחשיבות של ישראל נתעלה ונתרומם בפני כל מי שצריכין, הן הרוחני הן הגשמי. תורה ב' - וצריך כל אחד לכון בתפלתו שיקשר עצמו לצדיקים שבדור. (Torah 1 - Know that through Torah all of the prayers and supplications that we ask and pray for are received, and the grace and prestige of Yisroel is uplifted and exalted before anyone that is needed, spiritually or materially. Torah 2 - And everyone must make sure, in their prayer, to attach themselves to the righteous ones of the generation.)

תורה ע"א תנינה - אשרי הזוכה להרגיש נעימות התורה. כי יש נעימות בתורה, וזהו העקר, לזכות להרגיש הנעימות שיש בהתורה. (Torah 71 [second section] - Praiseworthy is the one who merits to sense the sweetness in the Torah, because there is sweetness in the Torah; and that is the essence, to merit, the sense of sweetness, that there is in the Torah.)

Torah 6 - I will be, what I will be, in the future if I return, cause if I wait I'll get the crown. And if you make fun of me I will be quiet back to you because what are we before G-d. When Elul comes around and I think about the names when I'm running and when I'm down. Yakov is the king, Yehoshua kills amalek, and Moshe Rabenu builds the house. Humility is the key for me seeing good in you because the honor is only for G-d. And I will be what I will be in the future if I return, yes I will be.....And if you ridicule me I will be silent back to you ...

תורה ק"א - כל המקבל עליו על תורה, מעבירים ממנו על מלכות ועל דרך ארץ. הינו מי שלמד בעיון, שמעין ומבין חכמות התורה. נ נח נחמ נחמן מאומן (Torah 101 - Everyone that takes upon themselves the yoke of Torah, it is removed from them the yoke of the government and the yoke of livelihood. That is someone that studies deeply, that delves into and understands the wisdoms of the Torah. Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman)

Torah 123 - The fundamental main thing that's everything, you is to connect yourself to the righteous one of your time, and to receive his word on whatever he says, and not to turn from his words to left or right. Torah 68 [second section] - The main wholeness of the Tzaddik is when he could be above and below, that he could show to ever is high that they're not, and to whoever is low that they're actually close, and this ability he must have and if not he is not righteous at all. Torah 19 [second section] - The main point is to serve G-d with complete sincerity with no complexity at all, and not to care about your own honor, only if there's honor of G-d you do it and if not, not. When I was young wanted redemption and life goes on and on, and Rebbe Nachman's song is what I live on and on and on. Torah 67 [second section] - And when this Tzaddik becomes revealed and famous in the world that's the aspect of a name; and in this name of the true Tzaddik is enclothed and partners the Name of G-d, Because "His" Name is partners with our name; we find when the name of the Tzaddik grows the Name of G-d grows and all the more so that the Tzaddik's name grows, G-d's Name grows, so to speak, because "His" Name is partners with our name as we said. Torah 155 - And every man has to ask of G-d that he'll have the want and the yearning for the land of G-d, and that righteous will have the yearning too. נ נח נחמ נחמן מאומן

תורה ל"ו - דזה הוא כלל גדול שאי אפשר לשום אדם להשיג ולתפס בדבורו של הצדיק, אם לא שתקן תחלה אות ברית קדש כראוי (Torah 36 - This is the great rule, that it is not possible for any person to attain or grasp in the words of the Tzaddik, if they did not first rectify the holy covenant.)

תורה י' תנינא - מה שהעולם רחוקים מהשם יתברך ואינם מתקרבים אילו יתברך, הוא...מחמת שאין להם ישוב הדעת, ואינם מישבין עצמן. והעקר להשתדל לישב עצמו היטב מה התכלית מכל התאוות...העולם הזה...ואז בודאי ישוב אל ה'....ולבוא לשמחה הוא על ידי...שמוצא בעצמו איזה נקבה טובה על כן פנים, כמבאר Torah 10 [second section] - The reason people are far away from G-d and do not come close to G-d, is because the lack composure of דעת (daat-knowledge) and do not self reflect. The main thing is to reflect upon one's self, what's to gain from the desires of this world, then one will surely return to G-d. (And to come to happiness, it is by finding in ones self a good point, after all, as is understood.)

השמטה - אחד היה אברהם...שחשב בדעתו שהוא רק יחידי בעולם, ולא הסתכל כלל על בני העולם...ולא הסתכל על שום אדם המונעות, כגון אביו ואמו או חותנו ואשתו ובניו וכיוצא...וצריך שלא יחוש ויסתכל עליהם כלל, רק יהיה בבחינת אחד היה אברהם. (Interlude - One was Abraham...for he thought in his mind that he was the only one in the world, and did not look to anyone...he did not take to mind anyone that obstructed him, like his father and mother or his father-in-law, wife, children and so on....and you need to not care or look to them at all, just be like, one was Abraham.)

Knowing that Rebbe Nachman said that people would be "nullified" (really enjoy) if his Torahs were adapted to music, Shlomo Shmuel Moshe ("Shin Shin Mem") Ettlinger made songs out of words from Likutei Moharan that spoke to him. They sat around on paper or in his head until a lot of negative press came out about him in the papers and on the internet. Hoping that he could leave a better legacy for his children, he pushed to record and bring out for the public the songs that he has. This is SHIREI MOHARAN, volume 1, with volume 2 soon to follow b'ezrat Hashem.
